Alper Tunga Dost is a Turkish author, engineer, and lifelong observer of people and the world around him. After many years in engineering and the water treatment industry, working with international companies and different cultures, he began devoting more time to writing. He is the author of three books: Kariyer Anahtarı, Umut Kapısı, and Aurora.

His writing explores ordinary people, memories, choices, relationships, and the small moments that quietly change our lives. Alongside fiction and essays, he continues to write about engineering and water treatment and is also an online instructor. Every Friday at 7:00 p.m., he publishes a new blog post on his personal website.

For him, writing and engineering begin in the same place: curiosity. One tries to understand how things work; the other, why people do.
